Delivery FAQS

If you're in Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan, you'll get your goodies in just two days from when you place your order. Please add 1 working day if you ordered after noon, HKT.

Our customers elsewhere typically receive their orders within the week.

We do try our best to keep to our estimated timeframes but sometimes unexpected delays do happen, particularly during customs clearance for international orders. We'll always keep you updated with shipping notifications.

Yes! Please make sure someone can sign for your order, otherwise it may be returned to us (the courier will usually attempt delivery one more time). You'll get a delivery notification when the courier is on the way so you can prepare.

 

If your package does get returned to us, please note we will refund your order but will have to deduct from the balance:

•  10% restock fee

•  the original shipping charges

• the cost of return postage to us

•  any customs fees charged to us

If you are outside of Hong Kong, please be aware that your package may be subject to customs inspections, taxes and other duties or fees according to the regulations of your country.

You are responsible for all such  fees, which may be necessary to release your order from customs.

Please contact us prior to placing your order if you have any questions to avoid disappointment from delays and/or fees arising from customs clearance in your country.

Pre-orders

Pre-orders are a convenient way to order new products ahead of their launch dates on our site. They also allow you to reserve any temporarily out-of-stock items to ensure you don't miss out on our next shipment.

Please note if your order includes a pre-ordered item, we will hold your whole order for you (including any in-stock items) until all items are available for delivery.

Pre-ordered items from The Beauty Chef typically ship within 1 week. All other pre-orders are typically dispatched within 1-2 weeks.

Where availability of any pre-ordered item is delayed beyond 2 weeks of your order, we will ship your in-stock items to you first.

You will receive a shipment notification whenever any items are prepared for delivery. For pre-order queries or updates, please contact us here

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

We will replace or refund any items that arrive damaged or not in a saleable condition, typically within 1-2 weeks.

For change of mind exchanges or refunds, a 5% restock fee + delivery (HK$50 if you are in Hong Kong or HK$250 for overseas orders) will apply, and will typically take 1-2 weeks to process from the time we receive the returned items.
